Busy Weekend

I am excited and nervous for the upcoming weekend. Tonight like all of the 5Th graders from the schools that are joining at the middle school next year, are going to meet up at the middle school to co-mingle. I'm excited about that. Tomorrow is the cheer leading try-outs, so I'm a bit nervous about that. I think I got the cheer down, but I wasn't in cheer leading last year. Then on Sunday I go to Sky Zone with my friend for her birthday. I am SUPER excited about that. So there is this weekends plans and I will inform you about how everything goes. Wish me luck on the cheer leading try-outs!

Camper

So two days ago we got back from the camper. I went up after I did April Showers with the Girl Scouts and my dad was already up there. When we got there they (my dad, our neighbor, his friend, and the neighbors kid) were already on the boat for the first time this year without us (my mom, my sister and I) on it. Oh well, we still had fun hanging out when they got back!!

Sport's Fusion (again)

So today we actually went to Sport's Fusion, and it was awesome!! I have never played laser tag before but that was SUPER awesome! It wasn't worth the $12 we had to pay to go there, but maybe worth like $10. It had a big rock climbing wall, and the obstacle course was great! Over all I like it a lot there!

Sport's Fusion

So tomorrow (because MAP testing ended today) we are going on a field trip to Sport's Fusion. It looks super fun! I am so excited!! The only problem is that light right after school we have cheer leading clinic, where you learn the cheer you have to show for the actual try- outs. I'm excited about that too! Me and my friends have resolved to not going completely crazy at Sports Fusion, only because we don't want to be that tired at the clinic.

Finger Nails

So for some reason when I got home my sister decides that she wants her nails painted. By me. So I agree, only half knowing what I was getting myself into. "Okay" I thought. "Maybe this will work out and she will just sit there and watch TV while I paint and while it dries." Yeah... No. She is a squirmy little worm (just because she is a VERY energetic soon to be 3 year old.) and would not sit still for more than about 2 seconds. She kept moving her hands and scraping them on stuff, so in the end they were all messed up. Oh well. it could have been worse. I will put up a pic sometime soon.

Grant's Trail

It was very fun!! I pictured it different than it acctually was. It was still fun though. We rode 8 miles! It was crazy! My butt hurts because I had to sit on it for 2 hours and it is made of plastic. Oh well, it was fun and it was worth cleaning out the shed!!

Shed Clean- up

I know that sounds SUPER fun but I have an explanation. The only reason that I cleaned the shed with my mom, it that if I helped her, we would go buy a bike rack tomorrow and go for a bike ride at Grant's Trail.. So I'm really excited. Its like a 8 mile trail, but you can park in different spots throughout the trail. I think we are planning to bike and then stop and eat lunch there. I'm super excited!!!

MCTM Math Competition

So today there was this math competition at LaSalle Middle School. You take a test and the top 3 people get to go. I was one of those people. My two friends and I all are really smart (we go to CCL aka smart kid school and one of them takes 9Th grade math.) and we expect to do well. Of course all of the Asian kids get like top scores and then the friend that takes 9Th grade math gets 10Th in one test and 8Th in the other. I thought that I did very well on one of the tests and at least thought I would get a ribbon. But no, me and my other friend got nothing. Second year I have got nothing and second year that my friend has gotten an award. I mean good for her, but I thought I did pretty good. i answered all of the questions with ease, feeling confident, and she didn't even finish all the questions on either one!! Oh well, It was an honor even to get there.
There was an Asian kid that got in too from our school, and he got 1st and
2ND for the tests, so hes going to state. I'm not surprised though, he takes 9Th grade math also and gets better grades than the other person. Good for him though, being a genius and all!!

Teachers

So apparently there is a dress code at my school, where you can't were spaghetti strap shirts. I don't even understand what the problem is. Well anyway a gym teacher sees me and comes over, and yells (not like that just talks to me) at me because i have spaghetti straps on, even though they are thick. She never yells at anyone else, but she decides to yell at me(and my friend, but not talking to her, just to me) because of my stupid spaghetti straps. So i put on a jacket and took it off when i got back to my classroom, just to she doesn't yell at me. She was mean anyway, so she just made it worse. I don't think anyone likes her anymore!!

Hot

Its been about 80 degrees for the pat week or two, and my parents refuse to open the pool!! I am burning up and they say its going to get cold soon. I really need to cool off or I think I'm going to die!! Maybe i'll just go play in the hose or something.

Australia

Tomorrow my mom's, my sister's, and my friend is moving to Australia. Her husband has to do some computer something there. My family will miss them so much!! We were all so sad when we had so say good bye after an Easter party at her house. <) <) <) (teardrops)They will not be back for at least 8- 10 months!! What will we do without them? My sister played with them pretty much every day!! I am trying to convince my mom to get a Skype so we can talk to them. At least she will be starting a blog on blogger!!

Easter

Happy Easter everybody!! I stayed up til 1 o'clock and got up at like 7:30, but I'm still happy its Easter!! The "Easter Bunny" came last night and brought me and my sister candy. It was a bit strange having Easter at my house because I always have Easter at my grandparent's since I was like 1. We always had eater egg hunts there and being the oldest kid in the family and hunting every year, I knew all of the possible places that an egg could possibly be hidden. At least at my house it was different even though the "Easter bunny" didn't hide any eggs in hard places for me. Oh, well me and my sister still had fun.

Camera

I was looking through other blogs and I saw how many of them had a lot of pictures. Most of the time they had a lot of followers, they had good posts and lots of pictures. I decided that I need a camera for that and just to have a camera that was not my mom's with a roll of film. I don't want to rely on my mother to take a picture and upload it on so I am going to TRY (I can always find a way to spend my money easily) to save up for a new camera.

Happy Easter Eve!

Seeing as how there is Christmas Eve and New Year Eve, a while back I decided that all of the holidays should have an eve. There is my Birthday Eve, Halloween Eve, and even Christmas Eve's Eve. For me there is alway an eve. So happy Easter Eve and April 4th Eve!!

New Mark Twains

So it is so cool!! At my school we have this thing for 4th and 5th grade, that is a poster, and yo0u read the new Mark Twain's and like books under certain categories and you get prizes. So me being the book worm that I am, I finish all the prizes you can get. If you read 4 of the new Mark Twain's, you get to vote on your favorite one, if you read 10 from the Mark Twain's or from the categories you get an ice cream party, and if you read 20 of the books on the poster you get a $20 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. You take a test on the computer after you read a book and the test has like questions about the book, and when you take a test on a book from the poster you print the page and they put a star across from your name under the book or category that you read. It is really cool and I have read 20 books (again because I got it last year too) so i get all the prizes!!

Camper (again)

So we got home about 3 minutes ago from the camper, and it wasn't that SUPER exciting, I mean it was fun beingble to drive the golf cart again (first time of the year) and like being up there and all, but we only stayed up there one night and today it was raining like crazy. my dad and I were planning to go fishing in the pond thing at the camp ground, but since it was pouring down rain, (and my mom had to work tomorrow) we decided just to back up and leave. It was a borsing drive back, but I got a lot of reading done ( and i'm about ready to put another rating thing on my other blog The book Nook. Camper

For my 4 1/2 day weekend, (awesome I know) iam going down to my camper at Mark Twain Lake to de- winterize it and probably fish. I can't wait!! this is the first time we have been up there all year!! the only problem is that it is a 2 hour drive there, so I have to bring a lot of stuff to keep me occupied for the trip there and back. We're leaving now so ill talk later!!

M.A.P. testing

So this whole week is M.A.P testing. It is a terrible combination of easy work, no homework, candy all day, snacks all day, and about a million extra recesses. A terrible combination I know ( being sarcastic) but I mean you gotta do what you gotta do!!

Science Olypics

So today was the Science Olympics and I think we did okay. Me and my friends did Quiz Bowl where you are asked science questions and are competing against different schools. We made it to the Semi- semi (at least that is what I called it) and we got whooped but Eureka. We tried our best and that is all that matters (... i guess. I mean it still would be nice to get a medal or ribbon or something.) Anyway I think I did good in the Can Race. In the Can Race you take a can and have a rubber band attached to a dowel rod (the rubber band goes through the middle.) and you spin the dowel and wind up the rubber band to make it go far. We made 27" 10 and i think that is good. I did okay in the Barge Building, but our friend got like 68 and we got like 40- something, so We won't get 1st place. Oh well, I still had fun hanging out with my friends!!!

Weekend

Yay!! Its finally the weekend!! I will probably just stay up late, sleep late and read all weekend. Maybe hang out with friends. who knows really. I'm just glad that I don't have to face the most annoying teacher ever!! I mean you would be talking to her and she would just walk off!! She also yells at people for no reason!! I cant stand her!! oh well, at least its the weekend!

Roller Coaster

So me and my friend are doing this thing for the Science Olympics at our school. We have to build a roller coaster entirely out of paper and tape. We have to get a lot done and I don't thing we will finish. We haven't even assembled it yet and it is due Friday!! I don't know what we are going to do!! We still have to make the rest of the pieces and make designs on it. Then we have to build it!! There is no way we are going to finish but I am still hoping.

My Birthday

So for my birthday i went to this water resort thing in Kansas City, and it was super fun. I got to go with my friend and we had a really great time. There were 4 slides and one went outside. That one was cold because it was snowing then. I was hoping that we would get snowed in and so then we wouldn't have to go to school tomorrow after a fun Spring Break. Oh well, we still had a really fun time!!

OMG!!

I am talking to this very strange kid on the phone and he is talking in different accents. It is very strange.

Birthday

Yay!! In 1 day it is my birthday i'm so excited!!! And in 2 days i get to go to a hotel/ waterpark thingy!! I'm so excited!! And I get to go with my friend from school!!!
